Welcome To Loves Tiney Home

A nurturing, playful, and safe space for little learners in the heart of Sheffield.

Why I started Loves Tiney Home.

Welcome to Love’s Tiney Home

I’m Dami, the founder of Love’s Tiney Home, a warm and welcoming childminding setting based in Sheffield (S2).

As a working mum, I struggled to find a childcare setting that truly felt right for our family. We wanted somewhere nurturing, safe, and rooted in Christian values, where children would feel genuinely cared for and celebrated. When I couldn’t find that setting, I decided to create it. That’s how Love’s Tiney Home was born, a home from home environment built around the values that matter most to me as a parent and caregiver.

With over seven years of experience working with children, I am a fully registered Ofsted childminder, DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained, and currently studying to become a qualified Early Years Educator.

At Love’s Tiney Home, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful connections. Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, supported, and celebrated.

Our thoughtfully designed setting includes:

🧸 A Cozy Corner for stories, quiet time, and cuddles

🎨 An Arts Corner to inspire creativity and self-expression

🌈 A Sensory Play Area where little ones can explore textures, sounds, and movement.

All activities are carefully planned and tailored to each child’s interests, developmental stage, and individual needs, ensuring learning remains engaging, purposeful, and fun.

As a mum of three, I know choosing childcare is one of the biggest decisions a parent can make. It’s not only about finding the right environment for your child, it’s also about making sure parents feel supported, reassured, and connected every step of the way.

At Love’s Tiney Home, we aim to create an environment where families feel completely comfortable leaving their little ones with us; where parents feel connected to their child even when they’re apart, and where they feel confident in the care, support, and abilities of the people looking after them.

These were the three things I struggled to find when searching for childcare for my eldest three years ago and they became the foundation of everything we do at Love’s Tiney Home.

At Love’s Tiney Home, we believe that the earliest years deserve the deepest care and the upmost attention to aid their development. As a commercial childminding setting, our smaller group sizes, guided by Ofsted ratios allow us to truly see, know, and nurture each child as an individual.

Unlike larger nurseries, where attention is often divided, our children benefit from meaningful one-to-one interaction, enabling us to support their development with precision, consistency, and love. Every child follows a thoughtfully planned personalised development journey, with activities carefully prepared in advance to meet their unique needs, interests, and milestones.

From enriching outings within the community to hands-on, engaging experiences each day, we create opportunities that build confidence, curiosity, and independence. Our approach ensures that every child is not only cared for but intentionally developed, giving them a strong, secure head start as they transition into school and beyond.

Our Mission

Give Your Child the head start they deserve.

Loves Tiney Home, intentionally crafted and designed with you and your little one in mind.

Head of Operations

Mia

Hello! My name is Mia. I am a qualified Lead Childminder here at Love’s Tiney Home. I have over 5 years of experience working with children from newborn to five years old.

As a mother of two wonderful children, I understand the importance of creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where little ones can thrive. In my role, I support the planning of fun, educational activities in line with the EYFS, organise outings and experiences, and help maintain a clean & safe setting for all children.

What I love most about my role is building close, personal bonds with the children, allowing me to support their individual needs and help them feel safe, confident, and valued every day.

‘‘We’ve had an outstanding experience with this childminding service. They’ve been brilliant with our son, always accommodating with our schedules, consistently clear in their communication, and genuinely committed to his development. We’ve seen real progress as he interacts with other children in a safe, nurturing environment, and it’s clear they have strong EYFS knowledge. We also really value the thoughtful updates we receive, such as his engagement in Communication & Language activities like listening to sounds during stories, and early Literacy skills like recognising initial sounds in words. Highly recommended’’
